We are retirees who thought we were through with camping. We have had a pop-up, a 27 foot travel trailer and a 31 foot motor home and enjoyed them all. However, there are a few more trips we would like to make. We recently bought our third Odyssey with a towing package. This week we went to a dealer and looked at the R-Pods and really liked them, especially the 177. We would like to hear some experiences any of you have had towing with the Honda Odyssey van. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You will be okay on the flats. We have a 171 (about 500 lbs. lighter I think). Be careful you don't overload yourself.
We pulled ours from Ohio to Washington with a 2005 Odyssey. There were some hills near the continental divide that I had to do about 40. Since we have other trips over mountains planned in the next few years, I changed my TV to a Toyota Tacoma.
