Silicone Sealant New Product?

   Like many others I do not promote using any silicone based sealant on the exterior of an RV. However, the dealer a couple years ago "fixed" issues on the outside with black silicone sealant as it was listed on the warranty parts invoice. That aside ......
Has anyone had experience with a product which is new to me .......... GE RE-NEW, which is supposed to be a product that can be used on top of old silicone caulk. (If I understand it correctly) I see it is sold at Home Depot. (As we all know Silicone caulk will not stick to itself once dried) 

Anywhere I have found silicone caulk on the R-Pod I have always gone to great lengths to remove it and clean the area before the application of an RV rated exterior caulk (Non silicone based.)
