Was wondering if anyone else has found this group yet. It's new and they have a couple of Rallies scheduled. They sound pretty good.  It's only open for Forest River products, which is a little disappointing to me since I like to go with my sister and she has an Airstream. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

I went to the discussion forum, but there didn't seem to be much Forest River talk, but very political. Somebody, please take a look and let me know what YOU think.

Here are a couple of links that may get you connected to FROG (Forrest River Owners Group). It is a relatively new group and they had their first rally this past May 1st thru May 4th 2011 (3-Days) in Branson, MO. This group is less than a year old so it has not caught on to many FR owners yet.

Whoa! Wait a minute! Your sister has an Airstream? I loved her Tab. But knowing your sister, I'm sure she's made her Airstream just as charming as her Tab was.

Thanks for posting the link to the site. They do have some interesting sounding rallies planned. I couldn't find a discussion forum though. I'll keep looking.

Hi Peggy,

Yup, she traded her tab in for a 16" Bambi. The Bambi has a history. It was used in a campaign for Little Debbie's. It was decaled all up and was really quite cute. Then when they were done with it, it was awarded as a prize to somebody in Ohio and somehow found it's way to Knoxville where Ella found it. She told the dealer they didn't have enough money to make a deal for her tab. The tab was trimmed in orange and you know this is Vol orange country and the dealer really wanted her tab. It sold within 3 days. This all happened in September. Beginning of football season. She loves having a bathroom instead of a port-a-pot and it can sleep 3 comfortably for when her son wants to go. Now Tom is actually thinking of getting electricity at Indy like I have done for the past 2 years instead of using his generator. He keeps saying "but I've got that generator!" I reminded him they can use that generator at other places they like to go. There's nothing like NOT having to go get gas to make sure you've got a/c!!! Yeah, I'm spoiled and I don't mind saying so. I like my amenities! Here's the link to see her Bambi when it was all decked out with Little debbie's.  http://www.littledebbiemission.com/ - http://www.littledebbiemission.com/

I think I finally found the right discussion forum, but when I did, I was tired of looking and didn't read anything. Must have a short attention span. LOL

I was looking at that Babmi and it's use of space is phenomenal! The POD loses space because of the teardrop shape. A lot more expensive though.

Yes, the space is surprising in the Airstream even though it is only 16". No lost space. They got a REALLY good deal on their mailto:T@B - T@B and it was worth it to them. They go camping every single weekend or week in the spring, summer and fall. It's hard to keep up with them! It would be a whole lot simpler if we didn't live 8 hours away from each other. As it is, I drive 4 to 5 hours each way to just meet them halfway! And I'm usually all by myself, so I pick and choose my trips.
I kind of wish they had left the Little Debbie decals on it. No sign of them now. It looked so cute!

The (right) discussion group is rather difficult to find. I finally did. I'll try to find the link and post it. I know, another forum. More time reading about what we love to do. Here's the link to the forum:

That Little Debbie picture is really neat. Not sure I'd want all that on the trailer, though. Have they named it? (Debbie?) I didn't realize you two lived so far apart.
I definitely can understand the lure of the bathroom. Really enjoy having that in the pod. But their Tab was sooo cute.

Thanks for the link on the forum. Almost no R-Pod discussion. I feel like signing up for it just to tell those people about this board.

I submitted several photo's of our R-pod to the photo contest. I didn't win but was sent a nice FROG baseball hat and a letter signed by the president of Forest River for participating.

I gotta say some of the mini rallies and  trips they are organizing sound very nice.  I'm already thinking of going to the one there in Goshen near the factory and perhaps the one in Washington DC this spring for the Cherry Blossoms.

I know, not much pod discussion. That was disappointing. I thought maybe if they have another contest, I would send a picture or 2. Goodness knows I've got them!

The trips sound great. I'm definitely thinking about the one in Goshen. My sister could stay at a campground close by so we could visit. She is not Welcome to stay at the fairgrounds. That's a bummer, but it can be worked around. Maybe we could swarm the fairgrounds with r-pods!!!!

This was my thought exactly Tink.  Sure it's open to all of Forest River, but how great would it be for a swarm of Pods to fill it up.

Carrie and I are pretty much planning on the August Goshen trip right now and are very close to agreeing to do the Washington DC Cherry Blossom Event in March.

Tinkerpod and the Moose Pod in one place together? We may have to go to that too! Maybe we should start a new thread under the roundups section.

This is starting to sound like a Pod rally!!!!!! Count us in. Big smile  I know that Huron Sailor was planning a rally in the UP of Mich about that time but maybe we could talk him into going to the one in Indiana.  We have already decided to go to the rally on Lake Huron and cannot make it to the one on the UP.  We would love to do the one in Washington, D.C. but will just be returning from Florida near that time.  Someone start a topic so we can see what happens.  I know a lot of people have wanted to take the factory tour.
Thanks Tink for letting us know about this.  I agree.  I am not sure that Goshen, Indiana is ready for the Moosepod and Tinkerpod in one place. LOL  Love it.

Hey Rosemary,
Thank Ella.  She turned me onto this.  Leave it to her.  Okay, I'll post it in the roundups and we'll see what happens. I really want to go.

Well we're here at the festival and wow what a deal, we came a day early and staying an extra day. The FROG people are subsidized and supported by Forest River so low prices lots of activities and lots of fun. Can't find any other roofs here, we're about the smallest here.

Well there is one other rpod here at the Cherry Blossom Festival in D C. Asked who it was and was told a name but think it may be too late to look them up at the camp ground. We hav really been kept busy with tours and there are 160 people here.   There are two optional tours tomorrow going into the night (night tour of the monuments). If the other rpod owners go on one we'll try to make contact.

Really has been a great trip and good camping value.

I think it is Terry and Pat from Lexington, KY.  They got their Pod after the first Roundup but have been to all the others here in the east.  I hope you can meet them.  They are great people.
I wish that we could have made the trip.  Maybe next year.  We miss seeing you guys.
