I have the Rpod 180 with a queen size memory foam mattress in the front part of the camper. When I winterize or de-winterize the camper I have to take mattress off the bed to get at the water pump and values. Its a major pain to lift that mattress out of that tight space and I have nearly ripped the curtains off the wall a few times. After it is out it takes up most of the floor space in the camper. I am wondering if anyone has come up with a way to support the mattress so it doesn't have to come all the way out. I thinking about cutting a access hatch under the bed near the water heater and crawling in that way.

Many have done what you propose. Me, I use air pressure to winterize and have not changed my valves in 5 years. The reason for the valve change is to prevent filling the water heater with gals of antifreeze. Drain the water heater, use air pressure and leave the bypass valves alone.
