Why is my water pressure low when attached to shore water? Do I need to access my water from my fresh water tank to have acceptable pressure?

Are you using a water pressure regulator?

We ran into the same low water pressure issue this past weekend. We've always had good pressure before now. I plan to change my inline water filter that I attach at the shore power end of my water hose. It's the only "easy fix" that comes to mind. We probably won't go out again until September, but I'm going to try to hook up to my house water to test. It could simply be low pressure at the camp ground.

Is it at all fixtures? Is the CG water pressure good?
We have camped at spots that had like 10psi.. just filled the holding tank and ran on the pump. |

We had the same problem last week. Removed the in-line "good for a whole camping season" filter and everything worked fine. We might try a different filter next season...PUR-type at sink.

Also, check your faucet filters (contained in the faucet housing). We found that ours were filled with shredded plastic construction debris. If you are not using a pressure regulator, higher city water pressure can dislodge debris in your water system. We also had this same plastic debris in our water pump strainer.
