Hi gang! Of course there is no 12 volt receptacles for those who wish to boondock. Has anyone got experience installing these? How do you wire them in and where is good place to put them please? Your help as always will be greatly appreciated. Now if only the foot of snow that has "dreampod" locked in, then I could install the door window and 12 volt project. Thanks for help in past. On our 177, I put one on the end of the dinette bench, next to the 120v outlet, and tapped power from the line to the carbon monoxide monitor, and we put one on the bed frame, tapping power from the cabin heater blower power wire. Those are both wires that are "hot" all the time. I did the same on my sister's 177, no issues after several years for either of them.

Many thanks Furpod. Will do it and install the door window when snow is gone. You have been an inspiration to so many of us!! I have done several of your mods. Forest River should put you on staff to have build better pods. Again many thanks. Tomcamper.
