I have a 179 2017 Hood River.
Is there a manual method of operating the slide out, just in case the motor(s) are not working? Thanks, edsafaris |

Mine stopped working when the convertor died over labor day weekend. At the bottom of the sink cabinet you have to panels. Unscrew these panels you will see the motors and wiring. Unplug these two wires, this will allow you to push the slide out back in. Reverse the process when done to lock slider back in. Or you can hook up a battery jumper or fast start and power it back in if you loose battery power. And by the way the slide out is very heavy to push back in.

he has a 179.. this is not the procedure for bringing in the slide he has. The Scwintek slide is a whole other deal, which is why, two years ago, I suggested going to you tube, as trying to explain it here would take up a whole page, and truthfully, you need to "see it done" before attempting it. |
