A salesman told me unibody frames not strong enough to handle WD hitch for towing. Any opinions on this. Thanks. Thom

I think it is going to depend on the vehicle. The official Ford Towing guide shows a Max towing weight with WDH for the Flex and Lincoln MKT both of these are Unibody if I am not mistaken. Also my Jeep Liberty is Unibody as well but they call it a uniframe as it is reinforced .

Thanks Travis and Sean. Another example of a salesperson having incomplete information. Thom
