The exterior amber light by the entrance door isn't working. How is the lens safely removed so the bulb may be checked?

There is a little spot down at the bottom of the lens for a flat tip screwdriver, just slide it in and pry it up.

My outside light also doesn't work.  Has anyone replaced the outside light with an LED? I am interested in a part number and source if anyone can help. Thanks

You need an 1141 socket. I chose a bulb with 18-SMD and yellow in color.
