Rpod Birth Announcement, coming February 2014, the RP179, the newest member of our Rpod family!! 

"RP179 - 2800# - 20' long. (Same as 178 & "G" models) TON of storage. Coming to a 
dealer near you February 2014. Call your dealer and make sure they have some on 
order for the 1st production run EVER of this new r.pod!! If they don't have 
them on order by December 9th - they won't make it to their lots in February! 
Dealers not attending Louisville 2013 may not even know about this model yet. 
They can contact their rep for more details!!

Okay, confirmed it is the same 3500# axle.

New confirmed dry weight that will be going in the brochure is 2630#

Hitch weight 285#

Cargo Capacity of 1155#

Travis, are you sure about the weight, it comes to 4070#, even without the hitch weight it is still 3785#.
If you want something done right, do it yourself!

This is what I have from Forest River on it.  I'm just passing along the numbers straight from them.


 
Dry Weight = 2630# 
Minus the.. 
Hitch weight = 285# 
Means actual weight on axle... 
Equals = 2345# 
 
That same 3500#axle 
Minus the 2345# 
Leaves you with a... 
Cargo Capacity = 1155#

Sorry about that Travis, it is minus 30 Celsius I thing my brain is suffering from frost bite, you are right.

Hehe I thought for sure I had typo'd the numbers.  Was a bit of "holiday cheer" in our home last night so I couldn't be certain I was even typing correctly.  

Glad it all adds up today though!

Minus 30 celsius?  WOW.  Someday I want to experience that type of winter.
