Our 2014 178 takes two hands to hold open the little overhead cabinet in the kitchen. Very annoying. Wish FR would include this inexpensive feature.

What have others used to fix this?

Some use a piston like holder but I find them to be bulky but to each there own. I used the 3M metal swing hook, lined up the handle with the hook, screwed in the hook and Bob's your uncle... The package says it holds .5lb, but we used this all camping season up here and the "boss" says it is grrreat.

I found a little magnetic latch that holds the metallic handle just fine. Will post a pic next time I am in the 'Pod to take one.

We bought mini struts from the camping dealer and installed them. Works fantastic!
