The one thing we have been saying since we bought our 173 last year is - "We wish the shower was a little more powerful".  Well...I finally took it apart and found a way to get more water flow into the shower so that we can get a nice flow of water from the shower head...

Tools you'll need:
Phillips Head Screwdriver
3/16" Drill
Needlenose Pliars

1) Remove the knob covers on the front by prying your fingernail in and popping them off
2) Unscrew the knobs by holding the knob still with one hand and using the other to loosen the screw
3) Pull the knobs off and unscrew the large plastic nuts (there is a small plastic washer too)
4) Remove those and the main plate will come off
5) Unscrew the shower hose from the fitting
6) Using the drill, make a new hole just under the existing small hole
7) Use the needlenose pliars and ensure all the extra plastic debris is out of the hole
8) Reattach the shower hose, put thing back on... the main plate, plastic washers, nuts, knobs, screws, and finally knob covers
9) Enjoy MORE water flow and finally be able to rinse the shampoo out of your hair!!

Thanks for this great improvement
