So one of the pins at the tow end disintigrated over the winter, easy fix, eh? Well took off the connector and I find a yellow, brown, green, black and three white wires. WTH? Have to take it in to a shop and get the white wires checked as we don't know what they are for and new connector installed. Contacted Campkins and the response was cricket, cricket. Guess I shouldn't have complained when they messed up the lighting recall last year.  Poor Canada...... Ouch Angry

From Forest River's 'Forum':

7 way Bargman plug wiring:

1. White / Ground return/ 10 ga
2. Blue / Electric brakes /12 ga
3. Green / Tail, Running, License / 14 ga
4. Black / Battery charge Line/ 10 ga
5. Red / Stop and LH turn /14 ga
6. Brown / Stop and RH turn/ 14 ga
7. Yellow / Auxiliary and back up / 14 ga

Look carefully at the 'white' wires and see if they have any colored stripes.

They had no coloured stripes, but thanks. I did get an email from Campkins explaining how it was done. However I had already had the new 7 pin installed. Along with a Tembren suspension enhancement system. Tacoma would sag and bottom out when loaded with the trailer or my 4 wheeler, soft springs on the Access Cab 2wd I guess. Tested it and everything runs level, no sagging at all. The system cost 225$ plus 16$ for the 7 pin plus tax. 80 bucks installation for every thing. So $363.00 all in. Toyota dealership wanted over 500 bucks to install an extra leaf plus 75 - 80 bucks for a 7 pin connector plus installation and tax. Almost $800.00. Plus a harsher ride and more strain on the stock leafs. No thank you.Wink

I knew that, however without a light tester, etc I couldn't assertain which the three white wires coming out of the truck would go into which of the remaining pins once the coloured wires were connected. It would have been a long process and was fixed with minimal expense by the mechanic when the Timbren SES was installed. Thanks though, Paddy
